ST. LOUIS (KPLR) A Dogtown resident says she is struggling to get by after all three of her vehicles were wrecked by a hit-and-run driver.

“It’s been very stressful. Very stressful on a day to day basis, trying to figure everything out,” Rosemary Nieters said.

Nearly three weeks after someone rammed into Nieters’ vehicles parked on West Park, no one has come forward despite clear surveillance video.

Nieters recalls the evening of February 9, when she heard loud, screeching noises outside her home shortly after 10 p.m.

“You know the monster truck deal? It kind of sounded like that. It was just bang, bang, crunch,” she said.

A neighbor’s security camera caught the entire incident, which has been posted to YouTube. The video shows a black Dodge Ram slam into a Toyota Corolla, Honda Accord, and Ford F-150.

Nieters said St. Louis Police are putting together a second police report. In the meantime, two of her cars are totaled and the third vehicle, the truck, requires substantial, costly repairs. Liability insurance will not cover any of the wreckage.

“This week we borrowed my brother-in-law’s vehicle to be able to get back and forth,” she said.

A GoFundMe page has been created to help Nieters pay for a new, used vehicle.
